About Myself

 
My name is Manny Genaro Cruz, and I’m a freshman working toward my Business Administration degree. My elevator pitch would be that I am an ambitious student focused on Business, and I have an interest in Marketing, Social Media, and the Entrepreneurship field. I also enjoy acquiring new skills that will help me achieve my desired career path.

I enrolled in this course because Marketing plays a vital role in any successful, sustainable business model, especially since it has become more significant due to Social Media's increasing effect on consumer buying decisions. Furthermore, because my career interests lie in Business and potential Entrepreneurship, I believe that this course will further develop my knowledge of how businesses market themselves, build relationships with their customers, and establish their Brands.

My area of study is Business Administration. The areas of marketing I'm most interested in are social media marketing and entrepreneurship. My goal is to gain insight into how companies utilize sites such as Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms to develop a connection with their customer base and differentiate themselves from competitors. In addition, I would like to gain insight into how entrepreneurs utilize marketing to create tangible businesses from ideas, thereby creating a product from inception.                                                                                                                 

I enjoy driving and cars (I love road trips!) and enjoy travelling to new locations. Travelling to new locations gives me a sense of freedom and excitement. I am also an avid fan of football and soccer, both of which I enjoy watching or playing with my friends. These interests provide me with opportunities to relax and remain active, while creating a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and personal interests. I look forward to learning as much as I can from this class and building relationships with everyone!
